Once you have completed the Kettlebell and Bodyweight training Course, you have a good foundation in the kettlebell movements and are ready to learn the more complex moves.

What you will learn

The Kettlebell Snatch

A recent study by ACE (The American Council on Exercise) discovered that the kettlebell snatch burns up to 1200 calories per hour! Dr. John Porcari, leader of the study, said this. “So they were burning at least 20.2 calories per minute, which is off the charts. That’s equivalent to running a 6-minute mile pace. The only other thing I could find that burns that many calories is cross country skiing up hill at a fast pace.” So there you have it! If you want to shed some fat fast and get super human conditioning then the kettlebell snatch is the exercise for you!

Here is a video of me doing 102 Snatches in 5 minutes with a 24kg Kettlebell. This is the greatly feared RKC Snatch test that all RKC instructors have to pass in order to get their qualification. To be an RKC you have to earn your certification the hard way proving your stuff with sweat and blood. Its not like the majority of qualifications where you go in with little to no experience and two days later you come out a qualified instructor.

 

Turkish Get Up

The Turkish Get Up could be the best exercise ever discovered. It builds strong resilient shoulders, a core of steel and lower body stability and agility. If you were forced to choose only one exercise to do for the rest of your life, then the TGU would probably be a good choice.

With the Kettlebell and Bodyweight training Course and MKB Level 2 mastered you are ready to pass on to Level 3 where the real fun begins! So you thought training with one kettlebell was hard, MKB level 3 is all about double kettlebell training!
